OUR PROGRAMS
Women and girls in sex work are often driven by desperation, abuse and lack of alternative economic opportunities.
Regardless of how they got there,
WE WILL HELP REWRITE THEIR STORY..
How are we creating change?
Street Outreach
Every fortnight on Saturday nights, a team of committed volunteers goes out to the streets in Nairobi's red-light district.
safe, inviting, and judgment-free space.
We serve and share a home-cooked meal with roughly 20 -40 women a night.
To us, this simple act of eating together might not mean much but to the women who are only seen and valued for their bodies, it is a chance to be seen, heard and respected.
Tuvuke Pamoja Training Program
Tuvuke Pamoja means 'Let's cross over together'.
This is 12-week peer-led training program for women who have expressed a desire to permanently leave sex work.
